Your screening presentation in our auditorium is the single most important focus for us. Our point of difference in the private cinema hire marketplace, is that our clients and their guests get the entire facility to themselves in a non-public ‘invite only’ environment.

FAQ

Q: How do I book The Backlot Studios?

A: Email info@thebacklotstudios.com and a booking form will be sent to you. A booking is not confirmed until the full payment has been received into The Backlot Studios account.

Q: Is the venue private?

A: Yes. Clients book out the facility and its exclusively reserved for your use during the confirmed time period.

Q: How much is it to hire a film?

A: Please nominate your film selection on the booking form so that we can obtain film hire charges from the copyright owner (i.e. the distributor or producer). For new releases, The Backlot Studios can have access to these approx. 5-6 weeks after cinema release date (depending on the title).

Q: Can I bring my own content?

A: Yes. If you are screening a pro-res/media from a computer, you must bring in your own laptop with an HDMI out that we can access.

Q: Do you accept credit cards?

A: We accept all major cards, except American Express.
